I am an Italian contemporary artist who finds her voice through abstract and intuitive painting.
I was born in Catania in 1996, where my artistic journey began. After studying Fine Arts there, I graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2019.
Since 2020, I have been collaborating with the BeniaminArt Gallery in Catania, where I have exhibited my work in both solo and group exhibitions.
Since 2023, I have been living and working in Dresden, where this journey continues to unfold.
My artistic practice emerged as an act of self-inquiry and healing. Through painting, body, and gesture, I enter a state of deep listening in which forms, impulses, and memories emerge from the unconscious. The creative process is experienced as a ritual – a sublimating and cathartic act.
My research explores archetypes related to genesis and to the processes of creation, destruction, and transformation.
Black, white, and red recur as primordial forces: emptiness and fullness, light and shadow, life and death. My primary interest lies in the movements of the unconscious and in the exploration of identity and the soul.
